Evacuation

During an active corridor notice, proceed immediately along your designated route to its assembly point. Do not wait for individual instruction. Routes are signposted in green.

Designated routes

• Route 3A (Zone 3): north along the prefectural highway. Assembly point: Hanada Civic Hall.
• Routes 4A and 4B (Zone 4): see Zone 4 evacuation.
• Route 5A (Zone 5): inland along Harbour Approach to the highland relief centre. Assembly point: Tokai Highland Relief Centre.

Assisted evacuation registration

Residents of zones 3, 4 and 5 who require mobility assistance may register for assisted evacuation. Registration is free of charge and processed within 5 business days. Proof of residence in a designated zone is required.
