All services of the Office are listed below. Applications are accepted online and at regional offices. Processing times are counted in business days from receipt of a complete application. Incomplete applications are not queued.
Kaiju Damage Compensation
For structural, contents and business-interruption damage inside zones 3, 4 and 5. Assessment fee applies; see fee schedule.
PermitsKaiju-Proximity Construction Permit
Mandatory for building, extending or structurally altering any structure within 1,000 metres of a corridor centreline.
SafetyEvacuation Assistance Registration
Assisted evacuation for residents with mobility needs in zones 3, 4 and 5. No charge.
Services relating to zones 1 and 2 are administered by municipal authorities. The Office handles corridor-designated zones only.
